Profile

Dr. Yasser has been working in the field of general surgery for more than 8 years. 

He was promoted to a specialist of general and colorectal surgery in 2020. He has worked in one of the leading university teaching hospitals. Additionally, he has worked as an assistant lecturer of general surgery, teaching the undergraduates the basic surgical knowledge and helping in the training of the postgraduates. He is also proficient in most of the general surgery case management. 

His sub-specialty is colorectal surgery, including:

• Laparoscopic abdominal procedures

• Management of colon and rectal cancer cases

• Dealing with urgent abdominal cases

• Minor and advanced anal surgeries, laser proctology

• Colonoscopy experience                                                                                                               

Qualifications:

• M.B.B.Ch. of medicine and surgery (2008-2014) Alexandria University 

• Master's Degree in General Surgery (2016-2020) Alexandria University 

• Full MRCS (2023): Royal College of Surgeons England

• Current PhD in Colorectal Surgery
