Southern Child Development Center (SCDC)

Every child deserves the opportunity to develop their full potential. We are a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting the optimal development of children with learning, behavioral, or developmental challenges who require specialized care to be physically, cognitively, academically, socially, and emotionally healthy. SCDC was launched by former Vice President His Excellency Faisal Naseem on 8th April 2021.
Our services are family-focused and we partner with families and schools to ensure that interventions are integrated within home/classroom environment where they live, play, learn, and grow.  

 Some of the conditions evaluated and treated at the Southern Child Development Center are:   

• Pervasive Development disorders such as Autism 

• Learning and Language disorders 

• Developmental delay or intellectual disability 

• Neurological conditions, e.g., cerebral palsy, developmental coordination disorders 

• Syndromes and/or behavior problems associated with developmental delay 

• Neurodegenerative disorders 

 Our team of experts include: 

• Psychologist 

• Occupational therapist 

• Physiotherapists 

• Speech-language therapist 

• Consultant pediatrician
