The 2024 AEH Patient Safety Day Conference is set to take place on September 28, 2024, at the National College of Police and Law Enforcement.

This year’s theme, “Improving Diagnosis for Patient Safety,” will bring together healthcare professionals, community leaders, and the public for a day of dynamic discussions, expert-led sessions, and interactive exhibits, all focused on enhancing diagnostic accuracy to improve patient outcomes.

With over 140 participants expected, the conference will offer valuable insights on improving diagnostic accuracy and patient safety through a series of engaging sessions. The program will feature distinguished facilitators addressing crucial topics, including effective communication in diagnosis, the role of clinical laboratories, and the impact of leadership on diagnostic accuracy.

The event will be organized across three key rooms: one for healthcare professionals focusing on reducing diagnostic errors, another for community members emphasizing the importance of accurate patient information, and a main room for general discussions and networking.

Attendees can also look forward to hands-on exhibitions showcasing modern diagnostic tools and health education activities, including a Basic Life Support Station, where participants can learn critical skills.

The event will culminate in a closing ceremony, attended by over 250 participants, featuring speeches from key figures and distinguished guests.
